Annual Partner Meeting

Join WRISC at our Annual Partner Meeting on Wednesday, June 7th, from 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM.

The event will feature a short WRISC update, compiling project highlights, events, and treatment milestones into a presentation led by WRISC Coordinator Lindsay Peterson.

WRISC has also invited a guest speaker to talk about innovative invasive species management. During the second half of the meeting, Lindsay Peterson will give a short presentation on up-and-coming invasive species to watch out for. Most importantly, WRISC will present our new and improved Strategic Management Plan, guiding our organization's mission for the next five years. 

After the meeting wraps up, participants are invited to attend WRISC's short Board of Directors Meeting. This is an excellent opportunity for WRISC Partners to see how a board meeting is organized and to ask questions about potentially running for a Board Member position. WRISC also invites community organizations to stay and learn more about becoming a formal WRISC Partner. 

At the commencement of the Board Meeting, WRISC will lead a short nature hike through the park, teaching Invasive Species Identification and Survey. 

Food and drink will be provided, including a brunch at the start of the meeting. Bruch tickets are $5 for Partners and $7 for General Attendees. You do not need to purchase a brunch ticket to attend the event; just utilize the coupon code NOBRUNCH when you checkout!
