About the event

WRISC is hosting our 5th annual Invasive Species Trade-Up Days event in May, with host locations in both MI & WI.

Trade Up Days are an opportunity for landowners to remove an ornamental invasive shrub, such as Japanese Barberry, Buckthorn, or Burning Bush, and exchange the plant for a monetary voucher to buy a native plant replacement.

Each voucher is worth $10, and you are able to receive up to $100 in you bring in 10 or more invasive species! Vouchers are redeemable at participating greenhouses and plant sales for the purchase of a native plant. Customers are responsible for any price difference.
