About the event
Garlic Mustard is an invasive species that grows in shaded forest understories and outcompetes native plants for limited space and resources. Your efforts at the Millie Hill Garlic Mustard Removal workday will help keep the biking trails invasive-free and prevent Garlic Mustard from spreading to new areas and other trails.
This activity involves kneeling and bending. Standing weed-grabbers can be supplied if needed.
Volunteers should dress for the weather and wear close-toed shoes. Garden/work gloves are recommended (we will have pairs available to borrow). A light snack and water will be provided.
*Attendees will receive a free volunteer t-shirt!
