Join us to kayak the Pine River Oxbow in Florence, WI! During the event, we will be covering plant identification and stream monitoring techniques that can be done from the water. This stretch of river is great for beginners and advanced kayakers alike!

Join WRISC staff as we kayak the Pine River Oxbow in Florence. WI!
While enjoying our paddle, we will be discussing AIS and plant identification and stream monitoring techniques that can be done from the water. We will also do a proper decontamination demonstration at the end of the paddle. This stretch of river is great for beginners and advanced kayakers alike! We estimate that the trip will take about 2 hours on the water, so plan accordingly!

Kayaks are NOT provided, please bring your own!
There will be a waiver for participants to sign and life-jackets will be required to participate.
