About the event
Join Wild Rivers ISC and the Dickinson Conservation District in welcoming the Summer Solstice with a sunrise paddle on Lake Antoine in Iron Mountain, MI.
We'll hit the water at 4:45am with sunrise expected around 5:02am.
After our paddle, we'll discuss proper ways to decontaminate your canoe, kayak, paddle board, etc. to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species, like Zebra Mussels or Invasive Watermilfoil.
Please bring your own kayak/paddle craft and life jacket. We will have a limited number of extra life jackets available if needed.
We'll provide some light snacks and coffee. Be sure to dress for the weather as mornings can still be quite chilly in June!
